Accommodation at the Windmill
Cat Hotel:
Bedding:
A choice of bedding is available. If your cat has its own
bed this can be brought or owners are requested to bring a
small blanket or old jersey. Bringing an item with a
familiar smell reduces any worries the cat may have about
leaving the family home.
Pet Carriers:
Owners are strongly advised to put their
cat into a suitable carrier when carrying the cat to and from
the cattery.
Feeding:
Individual tastes are catered for and
regular meal times are adhered to! The menu provides the
cats with a wide selection. Wet, dried and only the best
fresh food is provided. There is normally no extra charge
for special diets but owners are asked to provide prescription
diets.
Health:
No cat suffering from, or suspected to be
suffering from any infectious or contagious disease can be
accepted. All cats are examined on arrival, but the
proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat
showing signs of ill health pending advice from a veterinary
surgeon. Owners will appreciate that this is essential in
order to safeguard the health of all boarding cats.
Following veterinary advice if the cat is permitted to board any
treatment prescribed can be continued during cats stay.
All cats must be immunised against infectious Enteritis and Cat
Flu. Owners must produce an up to date vaccination card.
Male cats over the age of 9 months must be neutered.
We have seven double rooms for up to 2 cats and 2 family rooms for up to 4 cats. The double rooms have 16sq ft sleeping area with individual radiators and shelving to look out of shaped windows.
|
Guests have their own 24 sq ft exercise area with scratch posts, shelving and complimentary toys. |
The Windmill Cat Hotel has 9 units and 1 Isolation unit.
